Up in smoke
An installation for the live art event Mohni 2003
Inside the base chamber of a redundant power station's chimney a room is built. With a round table in the centre, it is made ready for a fortune teller to sit there for the evenings duration offering people "advice" about there future and insights into there past. Light are draped around the chimney to advertise the site. She is booked solid until the early hours of the morning. People seem to emerge after their session a little dazed, bemused but non the less impressed with the experience.
